At Tassamot, we want to inspire the next generation of gamers. We call this “Giving Back to Gaming what Gaming Gave to Us“.
As teenagers, we were captivated by the immersive worlds, compelling stories, and unforgettable characters that video games offered. These experiences not only entertained us, but also inspired us to become game developers and storytellers. Our studio is dedicated to creating games that go beyond entertainment, aiming to make a profound, life-changing impact on our players.
Through our work we strive to enrich players’ lives by sparking emotions, fostering empathy, and inspiring personal growth. We also aim to make a positive impact on the industry as a whole by pushing boundaries, promoting diversity and inclusivity, and setting new standards for creativity and innovation.
Our mission is to not only create memorable gaming experiences but also to leave a lasting, positive mark on the world.
Experience Matters
Jason and Will are industry veterans whom together have 32+ years of experience in AAA games. We’ve had the privilege to build many world class teams and bring our work to inspire millions of fans and grow some incredible IPs. We have worked on such games as Halo:Reach, Shadow of Mordor, Destiny 1, Destiny 2, Guild Wars, Concord, and Palia.
We have shipped 7 AAA Titles, many from incubation to ship. We have shipped on multiple platforms: PC, Playstation, Xbox, Switch and have desired experience in Unreal Engine. We have grown teams at some of the biggest companies from handfuls to hundreds. Ultimately we have the leadership skills needed to execute.
Craftwise, Will and Jason have been the heartbeat of the character teams. We simply have done everything you can do with characters, creatures, and story. Tassamot’s games will be known for having the best characters in the industry.
We have formed Tassamot and our games around our strengths. That will make us unstoppable. We call all of this experience and craft our X-Factor:

Jason Jones
Jason is a seasoned game developer with over 16 years of experience in the industry. Having worked on some of the most iconic AAA titles, including Halo: Reach, Destiny 1 & 2, Concord and Palia, he leverages his deep technical expertise in character production, storytelling, and team leadership to push boundaries of game design and deliver deeply impactful experiences. His career has been defined by his ability to lead creative teams, drive innovation, and craft deeply immersive experiences that resonate with players. As a co-founder of Tassamot, Jason brings a passion for creating meaningful, life-changing games that push the boundaries of what’s possible, all while fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and growth.
Will Patrick
Will is a highly skilled game developer with over 16 years of experience in the industry, specializing in character Design, world-building, and team leadership. With a rich history of working on landmark titles such as Destiny 1 & 2, Guild Wars, and Shadow of Mordor, Will has played a key role in shaping some of the most memorable gaming experiences of the last decade. As a co-founder of Tassamot, he leverages his deep artist vision and storytelling to craft games that go beyond mere entertainment, aiming to create profound, emotional connections with players. Will’s leadership and collaborative approach are integral to Tassamot’s culture of innovation, excellence, and inclusivity.

Will and Jason have worked together for 10+ years and have a strong unifying bond. They are the right balance of tech and art, creativity and reality. But what really makes them work well together is their shared values and culture. From focusing on the biggest problems first, our method of creating and growing leaders in the industry, to getting our hands dirty, transparency and desire to adapt. We have formed this studio not only around our passions and craft expertise but also our shared style of management.
